The Acropolis museum
One of the most famous exhibits are the Caryatids.
A sculpture
that has the form of a woman and is used in place of columns in a temple in the
Acropolis. They got their name after women in Sparta who danced to honor Artemis Karyatis.
There are six of them but one of them is found in the British Museum in London. It was removed by lord Elgin between 1800 and 1803.
Some thoughts
"I’ m amazed
from the beauty of the sculpture."
"I’m
surprised and full of wonder that people who lived 3,000 years ago managed to
build something that beautiful."
Papadopoulou I.

The Arnolfini project by Jan Van Eyck
I feel happy when watching this painting because it depicts a pregnant woman but also sad because we don't see her husband around-i also feel curious about the role of the man in the painting

Exhibits that impressed me Tyrannosausrus Rex
Mauritius dodos(birds) and the Blue whale (largest creature ever)
Freri K.
"One of the exhibits depicts the Diplodocus skeleton
Diplodocus had a long neck that it would
have used to reach high and low
vegetation and drink water
When I saw the huge exhibit I was very
impressed, I couldn’t believe that such a huge animal ever existed. I feel
stunned when I look at it. I thought how
great it would be to watch it
closely"
Tzavara A.
Another exhibit is the following:
T rex
A giant moving model of Trex as it was when it
lived … You can hear it roar
It was one of the largest meat eating dinosaurs
(skull length 1,5 m body 12 m)
I marvel the power of its huge jawbone and 15
cm long teeth!
It walked the Earth 67 million years ago and
its impressive we know about it
G. Makris
Pterosaurus fight in the age of Dinosaurs
Fossils
They
flew with their wings. They walked on their fingers. Some were gigantic while
other could fit in the palm of a hand.
When you see the exhibits of Pterosaurus live you go back in time and you understand
how these ancient creatures lived
"I feel curious about how they lived and I
admire the way they used to fly"
Pachis G.
